Crisis Shot by Janice Cantore

Tess finds an ally in sheriff’s deputy Steve Logan, but as they track down Rogue’s Hollow’s first murderer, she worries that she’s breaking one of her rules and getting too close to him.

This is Tess's journey to over come a bad situation that results in the shooting of a teenager.  Tess doesn't have a strong faith background so I didn't find a lot of faith brought out.  The pastor had a very strong faith that was shown during his darkest hour.

I found the book to be a little slow starting out.  I was expecting more mystery than there actual was.  It is a who done it.  But not a suspenseful who done it.  A lot of the mysteries I read I have trouble putting down.  I went several days without picking this one up.  All of that said.  I have enjoyed all the books Janice Cantore that I have read.  I look forward to reading her next book.

The View from Raineshadow Bay by Colleen Coble

Zach is only too happy to assuage his guilt over Jack’s death by helping Shauna any way he can. But there are secrets involved dating back to Shauna’s childhood that more than one person would prefer to stay hidden.
This book starts out with suspense and doesn't let up until the last page.  Jack and Shauna have to resolve old issues in order for them to be able to solve the mystery of who is killing Shauna's friends and trying to kill her.  Not only does Shauna have to worry about her life but the life of her young son. 
I highly recommend this book to all suspense readers.  As will all Ms. Coble's books this one did not disappoint.

This is Sam's journey to overcome her fears and Nick's journey to overcome is need to always be on a high risk adventure.
I recommend this for all who enjoy a light romance.

I enjoyed this book and would recommend it.

After several attempts on Haley's life she is beginning to wonder if it's more than the young boy she is guarding. Especially after a detective comes from Ireland telling her she is not really Haley Callaghan.  As the story unfolds, she has to pull out all the stops just to stay alive.

Steven just met Haley but he is drawn to her immediately and will do anything to keep her alive.

 As with all Lynette Eason books, this did not disappoint. I highly recommend this book.
