Scott is a decorated FBI agent who has been shot and may never have complete use of his arm and hand again.  Tori is a crime reporter and podcaster.   With the help of Tori's podcast a convicted murderer is found not guilty and released from prison. Tori is now the target of a murderer.  Scott is determined to keep Tori safe. 

This book kept my interest throughout and I couldn't put it down.

Prowl by Colleen Coble

This is the second book in the Sanctuary series.  It would beneficial to read the first book, Ambush, before reading this book.  Paradise and Blake are continuing their struggle to keep the animal sanctuary running.  The book starts with Paradise finding a dead body on Sanctuary grounds.  The action starts there and doesn't end.  Blake is a suspected of murder and the Sanctuary is tittering on financial ruin.

I couldn't put in down and recommend it to all who enjoy a good mystery.
