Final Approach by Lynette Eason
Perilous Tides by Elizabeth Goddard
Jo is investigating the murder of her mother and witnesses a murder in the process. So she is now a target by the killer. Enter Cole, a former Green Beret and her ex. He is also investigating her mothers murder.
Overall this was a good mystery. It moved a little slow in spots, but I did enjoy it. This is part of a series but it is not necessary to read the first book.

Former cop Cullen comes across Kit and helps her our of her cab. While assisting her bullets start flying. Not only do they have that problem, there's a volcano about ready to erupt.
This is a fast paced book. I enjoyed reading this book and highly recommend it to all who enjoy a good mystery with lots of action.

Legends of Gold by Mary Connealy
This is second book in the Golden State Treasure series. I was excited for this book to come out as the first book was very good. It didn't disappoint. This book is Josh and Tilda's story. Tilda arrives at Two Hart Ranch looking for two runaway boys from the orphan train. Tilda gets a surprise when someone shows up at the ranch claiming to be her brother. She has always believed she was an orphan and had no family. All is not as it seems. A great book from start to finish. The teaser at the end of the book makes me anxious to read the next installment.

When Stars Light the Sky by Elizabeth Camden
Ambush by Colleen Coble
Paradise Alden is returning home after being gone for 15 years after her parents were murdered. She is hoping she can put her past to rest. She can't remember a thing about that night. As soon as she arrives back in town, a lot of events start happening that threaten her life. Blake Lawson is the son of her boss and she has known him for awhile. This book kept me reading as Paradise struggles to remember what happened to her parents and find out who is trying to silence her. This book also brings in people we have read about from previous books.

Lethal Reunion by Lacey Baker
Every Deadly Suspicion by Janice Cantore
This is a fast paced who-dun-it. Hanna Keyes is the Chief of Police in a small town that has had its scandals. The biggest scandal is that Hanna's father, Joe, is serving a life sentence for multiple murders. The book starts out with Hanna witnessing a plane crash. This leads to several more murders and they all seemed to be connected to Joe Hanna. The mystery is well thought out. By the end of the book I did have the bad guys figured out. There was some repetition with the story of the old murders. But overall a great book.
