Someone broke into Mari's house and tried to kidnap her son. Enter Texas Ranger Sam. He was there shortly after the break in to tell Mari that her ex-husband had escaped from jail. That is just the first chapter. The book just kept getting better. Sam will do everything in his power to keep Mari and her son safe. There are several attempts on her life. I recommend this book to all mystery lovers.
